FCA Haiti

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is the largest sports ministry in America. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high, and youth levels to use the powerful medium of sports to impact the world for Jesus Christ.

Recently FCA had the privilege of going to Haiti after the devastating earthquake in January 2010. Our task was to go into the orphanages and tent cities and set up soccer camps to bring hope and normalcy during this time of crisis .This trip totally confirmed the need and opportunity to bring FCA to Haiti.

FCA is now in the process of starting a chapter of our organization in Port-au-Prince Haiti. The Haitian community is very eager to see FCA touch ground in their country. Our desire is to bring hope and share the gospel with the people of Haiti through the platform of sports and we need your help!

All donations will go towards: providing staff in Haiti, shipping of resources and sports equipment, and organizing mission teams from the U.S. to conduct sports camps. FCA will recruit and train coaches to start soccer teams in the tent cities and provide chaplains for each team. We will also partner with existing schools and organizations to establish an FCA presence in different parts of the country. Ultimately, our goal is to begin the process of constructing new fields and building sports facilities for the people of Haiti. All donations are tax-deductible and each person will receive a copy of the receipt from our National Support Center. We greatly appreciate your help and support in accomplishing this task to restore hope and rebuild the lives of the Haitian community.
